COMMUNITY RESOURCES

  • Talk with your local municipal officals about emergency planning going on in your community and get involved in emergency planning and preparedness.

  • Work with your local faith-based organizations to learn how they might be able to help in an emergency ... learn about other community resources and how to access them.

  • Get to know your neighbors and learn how they might be able to help in an emrgency or what help they might need.

  • Make sure your individual and family preparedness efforts are up-to-date.

  • Consider becoming a volunteer in your community.
