Tompkins County is temporarily restricting access to the Public Works Building. The District Offices are open to the public but by appointment only between the hours of 8:00am to 4:30pm. Staff and services are available for assistance by calling (607) 257-2340.

The Tompkins County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) is one of 58 Soil and Water Conservation District's located across New York State. It is the mission of the Tompkins SWCD to provide assistance to citizens and units of local government in making sound decisions regarding the management of soil, water and related natural resources.
