On September 17, 2020 at 6:13 PM, Tompkins County Sheriff's Deputies responded to Advanced Auto Parts, 2309 N. Triphammer Road in the Village of Lansing for a theft complaint. Deputies interviewed the complainant upon arrival. The complainant/victim alleged that while working, his personal vehicle was damaged and property stolen from the exterior.
During the course of their investigation, deputies located the stolen property attached to an individual’s bicycle a short distance away on Graham Road. On September 19, 2020, deputies arrested Nathan R. Beck, age 29 of Ithaca, NY and charged Beck with one count of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fifth Degree (Class A Misdemeanor). Beck was released on an appearance ticket ordering him to return to the Town of Lansing Court at a later date.
