On October 28, 2021 at 5:25 AM, Tompkins County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a one car crash on Sovocool Hill Road in the Town of Groton.
Upon arrival deputies located the driver of the vehicle. The driver was identified as Hailie Mayo, age 20 of Groton, NY. Through further investigation deputies determined that Mayo was intoxicated and arrested Mayo.
Mayo was charged with Failure to Keep Right (Violation), Driving While Intoxicated (Violation) and Driving While Intoxicated while having a blood alcohol content in excess of .18%. Mayo was released and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Groton Court at a later date.
