On Thursday 10/14/2021 at about 11:10pm, deputies responded to the Milton Meadows Apartments located at 10 Robins Way in the Town of Lansing for a reported home invasion shooting. Upon arrival, deputies located a 31 year-old male who had suffered a gun shot wound to his foot and lacerations to the head from being struck across the head with that handgun. The victim was transported to a regional trauma center. At the time of this press release, the victim has been released from the trauma center.
The victim reported that upon opening his apartment door he was rushed by two subjects, demanding money. The victim was subsequently shot and struck in the head with the handgun before the subjects fled.
