On November 21, 2021 at 2:22 PM, Tompkins County Sheriff's Deputies responded to Target, 40 Catherwood Road in the Village of Lansing for a theft complaint.
Upon arrival Deputies interviewed the suspect who was identified by security, Alicia M. Mcfarland, age 25 of Ithaca, NY. McFarland admitted to stealing products from the store. At the conclusion of their investigation, Deputies arrested McFarland.
McFarland was charged with Petit Larceny (Class A Misdemeanor) and released on an appearance ticket ordering her to return to the Town of Lansing Court at a later date.
