On March 6, 2021 at 6:09 PM, Tompkins County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the Target Store located at 40 Catherwood Road in the Village of Lansing for a shoplifting complaint. Target employees reported that a male and female suspect concealed merchandise in multiple bags passing all points of sale and leaving the store without paying.
Deputies identified one suspect as Chanel S. Savage, age 38 of Lansing, NY. Deputies arrested and charged Savage with Petit Larceny. Savage was released with an appearance ticket.
