DWI Arrest

On September 18, 2020 at 7:55 PM, Tompkins County Sheriff's Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a 2004 Chevrolet sedan on NYS Route 13 in the Town of Dryden after observing the vehicle operating with inoperable plate lamps. Deputies interviewed the driver, Anthony F. Santamarina Jr, age 52 of Dryden, NY. During the course of their interview, deputies observed signs of impairment and conducted a DWI investigation, which resulted in Santamarina's arrest for Driving While Intoxicated.

Santamarina was charged with Inoperable Plate Lamp (Traffic Infraction), Driving While Intoxicated (Unclassified Misdemeanor) and Driving While Intoxicated with a BAC of .08% or More (Unclassified Misdemeanor). Santamarina was released on traffic tickets ordering him to return to the Town of Dryden Court at a later date.
