On April 4, 2021 at 7:02 PM, Tompkins County Sheriff's Deputies responded to 32 Peruville Road in the Town of Lansing after receiving a traffic complaint reporting a possible intoxicated driver that had just pulled into the Mirabito.
Deputies located the vehicle and interviewed the driver, Laura A. Jacoby, age 50 of Groton, NY. During the course of the investigation, deputies observed signs of impairment and conducted a DWI Investigation that resulted in Jacoby’s arrest for Driving While Intoxicated.
Jacoby was charged with Driving While Intoxicated (Unclassified Misdemeanor) and Refusal to Submit to a Breath Test (Violation). Jacoby was released on an appearance ticket ordering her to return to the Town of Lansing Court at a later date.
